Sorry it’s been so long. I found this stupid farming game on Face Book… (forgive me, but I am sooooo bored) …well that and dozens of relatives.
I saw the Dr. Wednesday, and he’s happy with my progress. I am recovering nicely and getting my strength back, but I get to be a paper weight for four more weeks, because I’m still not allowed to put any weight on it.
The “gas cap” is for my bone growth stimulator.

Glad you’re healing nicely. I know how tough it is to be “stranded” when you can’t bear weight on it. I once had knee surgery and had to stay off of my knee for three months!
Hopefully it will fly by!

I’d be looking for a long enough rope, if this were going to last 3 months!
I get upset, because of the lack of strength and energy. It never occured to me how much 2 surgeries in 2 weeks time would take out of me.

“Gas cap” — that’s a good one.
Two surgeries in two weeks would take a lot out of anyone, but I know how hard it is to believe, when you feel that depleted, that you’ll ever feel any differently.

LOL That’s what I tell the kids at church, after hearing 2 four-year-olds try to say “stimulator”.
I know it will get better. Just feel like a total wimp. Things don’t usually get me down for very long.

Poor Shawn.
I hope you are not too bored. I get restless real easy. Being sidelined like that would nearly kill me.

It almost has, Stevo, but only a week and a half left and I’ll have my boot and be much more mobile. It will be wonderful to be able to come and go without help.
