Here are the pictures I promised of our newest family member.
He’s cute and a royal pain. He’s also learning to cuddle, so yes, he’s worth it.

As long as he learns to cuddle, it’s worth it. Even the dog will get used to it.

Wanda, that “poor dog” outweighs that kitten by about 108 lbs, and is as protective as any mama cat. She can actually wag him off.
Too true, Corina. He’s a doll baby when he’s tired.

Kittens are so cute. I prefer the mature, laid-back cat to the little bundles of destructive energy.

That’s the best thing about kittens, Stevo. They grow up.

Oh, but they grow up so fast. Nobody has more fun than a kitten.

Yes, he does seem to be having an a lot of fun, just being a kitten and doing what a kitten does. Poor Mr W didn’t know what he was getting into.

Kittens are irresistible.
I like the one with the dog tail. Dogs can be so sweet with kittens sometimes.
Our two cats are 13 years old. One of them has really thrown himself into chasing his tail. I hope it is a second kittenhood and not senility setting in.

Thank you for sharing those pictures! And, yes, they cheer me up immeasurably!
The dog and cat are practically twins!

I’m glad they cheered you a bit.
Hehe! Hadn’t thought of that, but they do favor.

Hi Ivy! I missed you up there. Good to see you around!
Sometimes they have third and fourth childhoods.
