Yesterday was a beautiful 65 degrees. It was perfect for getting the new garden ready for planting.
Tonight I brushed 3” of snow off the car before carefully driving home on icy roads, only to find 6” in my yard, and it’s suppose to dump 3 to 5 more sometime tonight.
We wore t-shirts and shorts Christmas day and it looks like we’ll need snow boots for Easter.
What the heck?

It’s global warming. Or something.

Maybe March is planning to come in like a lamb and out like a lion.

Yes, it’s totally screwy. We have one day in the 80’s then the next day it’s in the 40’s. I am glad I’m not in the snowy regions because I’d be pretty tired of it.

I’m here, but I’ll try not so say something negative. Like “trade you.”

Pan, I have thought of you every time it misbehaved here.

It has always been screwy like that here. Hmm. I’m going to put a link in.
The link explains.

Wanda, this does not look like “warming” to me.
Could be, Elissa. I just wish it would keep it’s mud outside, where it belongs.
It’s horrible, Scout. Between the sinus attacks and colds, I’m worn out.
Pan, about July, when it’s 105 here, I’ll be ready to trade anyone.
ABS, I don’t know how you stay healthy and keep from getting depressed, with all that going on.

You have a point … that isn’t right. But at least you’re not being allowed to get bored and complacent. There’s always an up side. Kind of.
OK, maybe not.

*laughing* It’s kind of hard to get bored and complacent when there’s ice on the roads here. Too many people freak out and try to take you with them.

It is very discombobulating.
I do remember having a fierce ice storm years ago in the middle of March. Weather never seems to be as predictable as we’d like. I could never be a farmer, relying so much on those patterns.

I was tempted to swear here. I was just thinking about what the weather did today. Hmm. I’d better go before I do swear.

Ivy, I can’t imagine being a farmer. I have my hands full trying to save a couple of trees we planted a bit too early.
ABS, thanks for not swearing, but I do understand the urge.
